The Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, Lisbon, Portugal is carrying out the 28th International Conference of Europeanists. The theme of the conference, The Environment of Democracy, aims to capture central challenges facing Europe and the world today: Climate Change and the Future of Democracy.

The Conference will be carried out in a hybrid modality on the following dates:

• The event scheduled an online conference for June 20-22, 2022 (the week before the in-person conference in Lisbon).
• The in-person conference in Lisbon for June 29-July 1, 2022, which remains as the centerpiece of our Annual Conference.

Submission:

• All proposals may be submitted from 12:00 PM EDT, September 7 to 11:59 PM EDT, October 15, 2021,. Participants may present in a maximum of two paper sessions and one book panel/roundtable during the in-person event.

Submissions are concerned in three categories:

• Individual Submission
• Panel Submission
• Book Panel/Roundbale
